OMBRÉ POWDER BROWS
The ombré powder brow technique is achieved using a machine. This tattoo application is done on the surface layer of the skin. The technique is described by its name, with results being powdery with a faded front and a crisp tail, resembling the look of make-up. The result is a less harsh, more controllable colour in which we can tailor to our clients' desired look.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Overall it feels like little scratches. You may feel it, but it’s definitely not unbearable. We prep our clients’ brows with topical numbing cream and tops up throughout the process to dull the discomfort. Results can last up to three years depending on the skin and lifestyle. The process usually requires an initial set up and first service, with a follow up ‘perfecting’ service. A consultation is provided where we will discuss the options for your very own customized brow service that is just right for you.

POST CARE INSTRUCTIONS
-
Keep the area CLEAN.
-
It is very important to remove lymph fluid from the surface of the skin to prevent heavy scabbing. Before bed, rinse the area with lukewarm water, gently removing the dry lymph and gently pat dry.
-
Avoid soaps or facial cleansers on pigmented areas -wash around them- pat dry with a clean towel.
-
DO NOT rub, scratch or pick any crust along the tattooed area. Early removal of pigment crusts may result in loss of colour.
-
DO NOT apply makeup on the pigmented area during the healing process.
-
Avoid swimming, soaking, steam baths and facials for the 1st week.
-
Avoid applying exfoliates or AHA/glycolic acid products to the tattooed area for at least 2 weeks.
-
Avoid sun exposure (including tanning beds) during healing process.
-
The eyebrows may be swollen for the first few hours. The colour will look darker for the first 5-7 days, until the scab peels off. It will then look smaller and lighter. Try to sleep on your back during the healing process. Dry healing is recommended.
