Nav DhaliwalLocks & Lashes Salon Owner and Esthetician
Nav has over eight years of salon and home-based business experience in esthetics. She attended the Blanche MacDonald esthetics program in 2002 with the hopes of opening her own business one day.
In 2005 Nav went to India to learn the “Threading” technique of hair removal. After working in a local salon for just over a year she started a home-based business under the name ‘Frost’d by Nav’ in Oct 2006 doing facials, waxing, manicures, pedicures and threading.
She completed the Biosculpture course in 2008 and the Hair Program at John Casablanca Institute in 2011.
Since opening Locks & Lashes, Nav is thrilled to have the opportunity to do what she loves and to be able to work with amazing staff and clients. “The salon has a family and friends atmosphere, and that makes for a terrific work environment”, says Nav.
After starting her career in esthetics in 2007 April has refined her techniques over the years, constantly learning and building her professional portfolio to best serve her clients. Admiring the words of Ralph Waldo Emerson who said, “love of beauty is taste, the creation of beauty is art,” April brings her own artistic touch into personalizing each service – whether it’s make-up application, manicure & pedicure, waxing or flirty finishes – to the client and showcasing their beauty.
As an esthetician at Locks & Lashes, April is looking forward to beautifying the men and women of her community and the surrounding lower mainland.
